Discounts for folks who are not able to attend Glimmer Camp without financial assistance

Folks can apply for a 25%, 50%, or 75% discount off of camp registration. If you'd like to apply for a Pay It Forward discount, please read this page in its entirety. 

The full registration price of camp, $520, reflects the actual cost of camp based on a fee model that offers discounts to volunteers. The Pay It Forward discounts are funded through community member contributions and fundraisers. We've reserved 20 camp spots for Pay It Forward registrations, with a goal of raising $5,500 for discounts. 

Anyone who would like to attend Glimmer Camp, but cannot without financial assistance, is encouraged to fill out an application. We do not ask applicants to demonstrate need because we endeavor to lean more towards mutual aid than charity.

How it works:

• Money is contributed to the Pay It Forward fund by community members and through fundraising.

• Applicants fill out this form and are placed on a waitlist. 

• Applicants are offered Pay It Forward discounts as they become available through the fund until 7/6/2026 or we reach our $5,500 goal, whichever comes first. 

*There is no set schedule for discount dispersal, the Pay It Forward fund is a rolling scholarship. 

*We may not be able to offer discounts to everyone who apply for financial support. Due to the volume of applicants we will only contact folks if/when a discount becomes available for them. 

If/when your application comes up on the list for available funds we will email you to notify you of the Pay It Forward discount being offered. We will also send a courtesy text. The email will come from registration@glimmercamp.com and it will be marked as important. Please do let us know if you are no longer interested, there are humans managing this program and other humans after you on the waitlist. 

You must respond to the email or text within seven (7) days and we will send you the discount code. If you do not respond within the alotted time we will move on to the next person on the waitlist. If you reply after the seven (7) day period that you want the discount, we will put you back on the waitlist at the top. 

Your Pay It Forward discount code is good for thirty (30) days from when it's emailed. You must register for camp within 30 days of recieving your Pay It Forward discount. Please proactively comunicate with the PIF coordinator if the timeline is a barrier for you.

Terms and conditions:

Registrations using a Pay It Forward discount are subject to the Glimmer Camp cancellation policy. 

Pay It Forward discounts have no monetary value, may not be used in combination with other Glimmer Camp discounts, and are non transferable. Pay It Forward discounts are valid for 30 days. Registration using a Pay It Forward discount dependent on availability. 

Pay It Forward discounts apply only to registration fees and do not apply to credit card processing fees, merchandise purchases, or any other fees.
