Please note the discount listed for each volunteer role. Volunteer roles cannot be combined. Volunteer discounts can be applied to Sustaining and Supporting tickets, not to Supported tickets.

Activities sessions should be for groups of 15 campers or more.
Activities will be selected based on the following criteria: alignment with camp mission and values, compliment to other activities to offer a diverse selection, resonance with folks systemically excluded from the summer camp experience, availability of necessary equipment and environment.
We resist cultural appropriation. Please be mindful of whether your activity idea originates from a culture/community that is marginalized in US dominant culture and is not your own. The following reflection questions may help you determine if it's an appropriate activity to lead in this space.
Is this an 'open' practice or a 'closed' practice? Was I gifted learning this practice by a member of the culture/community of origin with the agreement that I would share it with others?
If this practice has been largely appropriated by US dominant culture (eg. yoga), how do you recognize and honor the practice's lineage?
Prep-time is not built into activity shifts. Preparation such as demos or samples, or significant space set-up will need to take place outside of assigned volunteer shift.
Necessary consumable supplies will be provided by camp.
Consumable materials- those which are intended to be used up in the course of the activity- will be provided. Please keep consumable materials to no more than $5/camper.
In most circumstances, camp will not provide durable equipment. Durable equipment are items that are intended to be used in multiple instances over a duration of time. Examples of durable equipment are; looms, binoculars, board games, etc.
You may choose to bring your own durable equipment to lead an activity.
If you choose to bring your own equipment for use during your session, neither Glimmer Camp nor the property owner are responsible for any theft, damage, or loss to your personal equipment nor injury caused by your personal equipment.
Personal equipment may not be brought for the following activities: archery, swimming, boating.
The following equipment/materials are prohibited on camp property: fire arms, fire works, confetti, any fire outside of campfire circle.
