All Glimmer Camp participants, including campers and volunteers, are expected to adhere to the following rules. The majority of these rules are required by Camp Cleawox. And so, while they might not be what we would choose if left to our own devices, we must enforce them. Violations of these rules risk Glimmer Camp being evicted from the property or not permitted to rent this property for future events. So, please take them seriously.
Participants may be dismissed from camp for violating any camp rule. No refunds will be granted for participants dismissed from Glimmer Camp.
Smoking, vaping, and all other tobacco/nicotine products are only permitted in designated areas. Smoking areas will be shared upon check-in at Glimmer Camp.
Alcohol is only permitted to be consumed in the lodge and on the lodge porch. Only alcohol served by Glimmer Camp is permitted on Camp Cleawox property. Responsible consumption is encouraged; no one will be overserved (Glimmer Camp reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone for any reason).
Marijuana and other federally illegal drugs are not permitted on Camp Cleawox property.
Weapons are not permitted on Camp Cleawox property.
Pets are not permitted on Camp Cleawox property. Certified service animals are welcome.
Vehicles are not permitted past the parking lot, including motorcycles, ATVs, etc.
No one is permitted on the swimming or boating docks except during official Glimmer Camp activities.
Personal equipment for archery and boating is not permitted. Paintball is prohibited.
RVs and tents are only permitted to be set up where indicated by Glimmer Camp volunteers.
No food is permitted in Adirondack, cabin, or tent sites.
Campfires and generators are only permitted in accordance with current restrictions and conditions. Campfires must be maintained in designated fire rings, with a metal bucket of water, a shovel, and a hose nearby. Fires must be completely extinguished and cold to the touch before leaving the fire ring.
Music and noise. Music must stop by 10:00pm. Quiet hours are to be observed between 10:00pm and 8:00am, which means no loud noises or loud activities during that time.
Participants are responsible for the security and care of personal items brought to Glimmer Camp. Neither Glimmer Camp nor Camp Cleawox are responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, including vehicles.
Participants are responsible for their own health and safety at Glimmer Camp.
Participants must inform a Glimmer Camp volunteer if they are unsure in any way of participant’s physical and/or mental ability to participate in any of the activities
Participants may not attend Glimmer Camp if experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 illness or have been exposed to a person with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19. Participants must leave camp premises if they develop any COVID-19 symptoms during Glimmer Camp.
Full Glimmer Camp fees are due at the time of registration.
A 50% refund of registration fees and 100% of merchandise pre-order paid, minus the credit surcharge, will be granted for cancellations made up until 90 days prior to the first day of Glimmer Camp. No refund of contributions will be granted.
No refund will be granted for cancellations made less than ninety (90) days prior to the first day of Glimmer Camp. No refund will be granted for failure to attend Glimmer Camp.
No refund will be made for any participant who elects to leave Glimmer Camp voluntarily for any reason or are dismissed by Glimmer Camp leadership or the Camp Cleawox manager for any reason, including for violating these Rules or the Glimmer Camp Code of Conduct.
