Glimmer Camp 2025 will take place at Camp Cleawox in Florence, OR.
Camp Cleawox is an enchanting 47 acre Pacific coastal forest site located on Cleawox Lake. This space has a lot of *camp magic* and provides many opportunities for outdoor and sheltered activities. There is electricity in the Lodge, Staff House, Shower house, and Art Hut. There is no electricity in sleeping areas or along trails. Trails in the main part of camp are wide, graveled and well-maintained; the ground at the swimming area is sand. There are roots and moderate inclines/declines on the trails. No vehicles are permitted past the parking lot.
Sleeping areas at camp vary in amenities and we have sorted them into categories accordingly. During registration you will select a sleeping area category and there is a place to share additional information to take in to account when assigning you to a sleeping area.
All camp accommodations are bunk or single-level beds that are twin sized and most cabins do not have cabinets or shelves for belongings. The bunkbed sizes may vary, and we measured one that was 31x75in on the inside. Mattresses are 4in thick foam. Each sleeping area has picnic tables and fire ring.
We ask that folks who are comfortable with more rustic accommodations select those during registration and leave Category A available for folks who would not be able to attend without access to those amenities.
These sleeping areas are inside buildings with electricity and immediate access to indoor plumbing. All beds are bunk beds.
